Baby’s Christmas Review (Golden Books)

What It Is

Baby's Christmas is part of the Golden Baby book series of board books that offer the youngest readers sturdy editions of classic Golden Books stories. In Baby's Christmas, young readers get to see all the different things Santa left for the baby. This rhyming story by Esther Wilkin and illustrated by Eloise Wilkin was originally published in 1959. On each page, the baby plays with something that Santa left under the Christmas tree: a rocking horse, a bouncy swing, a shovel and pail, a rubber duck, a boat, and a toy box for storing all the new toys. This book features sturdy pages and a padded cover.

Is It Fun?

Babies like looking at pictures of babies, and the baby in this book will keep them engaged as he plays with his toys and enjoys his first Christmas. It's a great book for parents to read to their babies around the holidays, and the book has such a classic look that it can serve as an heirloom piece and be passed down throughout your family for years to come.
