Color Clix Intermediate Project Pack Review (Aliquantum International)

What It Is

Color Clix is a new construction system that allows kids to create volumetric structures. There are four different types of rings and connectors: rhombus, equilateral triangle, isosceles triangle, and square. These use the same connecting angles found in atoms, crystals, and DNA molecules. The Intermediate Project Pack comes with 200 of these blue, purple, neon orange, and green building pieces that easily snap together. The pack also comes with an Imagination Guide that shows kids the basics and provides some building inspiration. We created three of the models in the guide: the Clix Ninja, Clix Airplane, and Clix Bicycle.

Is It Fun?

Color Clix is different from the construction play you may be used to, but it still allows kids to build tons of cool things. We found it easy to build the Clix models, and they stay together very well, too. Construction play encourages kids to use their imagination and offers lots of opportunity for repeat play.

Who It’s For

The Color Clix Intermediate Project Pack is for ages 5 and up. Kids who are into science would especially like the Color Clix system.

What To Be Aware Of

The Intermediate Project Pack is compatible with other Color Clix sets, which are sold separately.
