DartBall is a twist on the classic game of darts. In this indoor/outdoor game, players or teams take turns launching three foam Djubi balls at the DartBall target net per round. The balls are then retrieved and the points tallied. The first player or team to score 500 points wins.
The DartBall target net is to be set up 30-40 feet from your launch line. It is divided into five scoring zones: 20, 40, 60, 80, and the center bulls-eye worth 100 points. To launch a Djubi ball, hold the launcher in one hand and attach the elastic loop of the Djubi ball over the launcher's hook. Pull back on the Djubi ball and release to send it flying toward the target.
The rules stipulate that a player or team must reach 500 points exactly in order to win. If a team or player scores more than 500 points, the players must then aim for the target point area in which they are over 500. So, if a player reaches 540 points and they hit the 40-point zone, they will have 40 points deducted, leaving them with a score of 500. If they hit the 60-point zone, however, they will have 60 points deducted, bringing them back down to 480 points.
DartBall comes with six Djubi balls, a target net, two launchers, a score board, and a dry erase marker. It is for two or more players.
DartBall is easy to learn and fun to play. It's perfect for tailgating, at the beach, in your yard, in your basement, and just about anywhere. Kids will also have fun launching the Djubi balls without playing with the target just to see how far the Djubi balls can go.
DartBall is for ages 8 and up.
Do not aim the Djubi balls at eyes, faces, animals, or breakable objects. Don't launch the Djubi balls at anyone or anything from point blank range.
When launching a Djubi ball, don't pull the ball close to your face. Keep your face out of the recoil path of the elastic loop. Also, don't overstretch the elastic loop. The ideal stretch is between six and 12 inches.
it takes a little practice to collapse the target for storage or travel.
