LEGO Star Wars Rancor Pit Review (LEGO)

What It Is

With the LEGO Star Wars Rancor Pit building set, Star Wars fans can help Luke escape the clutches of the Rancor just like in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. With the 380 pieces in this set, kids build the Rancor Pit hidden beneath Jabba's palace. There is an opening gate, a secret room, and a hidden compartment with a hidden key that will cause the gate to drop. The set comes with a three-inch Rancor figure with moveable arms, jaw, hands, and fingers. There is also a skeleton and three minifigures: Luke Skywalker, Malakili, and a Gamorrean guard. Accessories include a bone, two keys, a pitchfork, and a bucket. This set can be combined with the LEGO Star Wars Jabba's Palace, sold separately, which can be stacked on top of the Rancor Pit to create a trapdoor into the Rancor Pit.

Is It Fun?

LEGO has done a great job of recreating this scene from the movie and allowing LEGO and Star Wars fans to bring it to life. Kids and collectors will appreciate all the detail in this building set, and the Rancor Pit will inspire lots of imaginative, narrative-based play for kids.

Who It’s For
