LEGO Galaxy Squad Star Slicer Review (LEGO)

What It Is

LEGO has introduced a new building theme this year called Galaxy Squad, which is all about building and playing in space. The LEGO Galaxy Squad Star Slicer building set comes with 311 pieces so that kids can help the blue team heroes stop the alien Star Slicer. The buildable Star Slicer has a shooting function, poseable stinging claws, and a cocoon that can hold one LEGO minifigure. Kids will also build Solomon Blaze's vehicle that splits into an armored car and agile flyer. Three minifigures are included: Solomon Blaze, a robot sidekick, and an exclusive red alien buggoid. Three blasters are also included.

Is It Fun?

The LEGO Galaxy Squad Star Slicer will engage kids in lots of imaginative, open-ended play. Kids will like all the moving parts and accessories, including Solomon Blaze's two-in-one vehicle, which help bring the intergalactic play to life.

Who It’s For

The LEGO Galaxy Squad Star Slicer is for ages 8–14.

What To Be Aware Of

This set took an expert builder between one and two hours to build, count on it taking a little longer for the average LEGO builder. No matter how long it takes you to build, remember that building is part of the fun and play of LEGO.
