Barbie's latest direct-to-DVD movie is Barbie in the Pink Shoes. In the movie, Barbie stars as Kristyn Farraday, a ballerina with big dreams. When she tries on a pair of sparkling pink shoes, she's whisked away to a fantastical ballet world where she must dance in her favorite ballets to defeat the evil Snow Queen. While journeying through this fantasy world, Kristyn takes on the role of ballet characters, including Giselle from the ballet Giselle. Featuring articulated legs, kids can make the Barbie as Giselle doll dance like in the movie. Push the doll down into a plié, and lift up to watch the doll perform a fast entrechat.
