LEGO Legends of Chima Razar’s CHI Raider Review (LEGO)

What It Is

Kids can grab the Eagle tribe CHI with the Razar's CHI Raider building set, part of the new Legends of Chima building theme. The story behind Legends of Chima is that, at one time, human-like animals lived together in harmony. Chima was once a paradise, but heavily armed barbarian species have changed it, and now best friends have become enemies, fighting over a powerful natural resource called CHI. It is the source of life, but if put in the wrong hands, it can also lead to destruction.

Using the pieces in the 412-piece Razar's CHI Raider set, kids build Razar's CHI Raider complete with four flick missiles, a rear storage bay, and poseable beak, wings, tail, legs, and talons. Kids also build an Eagle CHI Temple and cannon. Three minifigures are included: Razar, Rizzo, and Ewar.

Is It Fun?

Much like Ninjago before it, LEGO's new Legends of Chima has a great narrative that will capture kids' imaginations. This is a very detailed set with lots of moving pieces and built-in action. Razar's CHI Raider will inspire lots of narrative-based play as kids pretend to protect the CHI from the bad guys and continue the Legends of Chima story.
