Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Lair Attack Review (LEGO)

What It Is

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CG-animated series on Nickelodeon has become a huge hit, and now fans of the new show can build the Turtles' world off-screen with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle building sets from LEGO.

The 488-piece Turtle Lair Attack set is a three-story, buildable playset of the Turtles' lair. Instruct Leonardo in the ninja arts with Master Splinter and the rotating training dummy. Then experiment in Donatello's lab. Fire up the oven and hang in the video game station with its flat-screen TV. Or climb up to the street with a skateboard and shred the mini ramp. But the Dark Ninja and his Foot Soldier minion have found their way into the lair thanks to the lifting manhole cover and exploding wall. Help the Turtles fight with 10 weapons (two sai, five swords, a ninja star, a bladed bo staff, and a wooden training staff) and a pizza-shooting oven. Five minifigures are included: Leonardo, Raphael, Master Splinter, Dark Ninja, and a Foot Soldier. The set includes lots of accessories including a lab with workbench, tree and weapons rack, turtle catapult, skateboard rack, and graffiti wall with swing and attack function.
