Rudolph’s Gift Review (Oceanhouse Media)

What It Is

Rudolph's Gift is a game app based on the classic animated special from Rankin-Bass that airs on TV every year around Christmas. The object of the game is to help Rudolph and Santa deliver as many gifts as possible.

You control Santa's sleigh with your left hand and shine Rudolph's light with your right hand. When Rudolph lights up a house, Santa drops the presents, but you also need to keep an eye on the sky in front of you to avoid running into obstacles.

Is It Fun?

Hitting an obstacle ends your game but there are also power ups, special items and bonus objects hidden in clouds that you want to hit. These items and objects, plus delivering toys, rewards you with hearts that can be used to upgrade Rudolph's abilities, Santa's sleigh and even changing who drives the sleigh. If you earn enough hearts, you can even unlock Yukon Cornelius and Hermie the elf.

Who It’s For

This is a great, quick, pick-up-and-play game for all ages - from little kids to adults. Fans of the Rudolph cartoon and even non-fans (don't kill me but I'm one of those non-fans) will enjoy this Christmas game app.

What To Be Aware Of
