Halo Versus: Snowbound Highbase Review (MEGA Bloks)

What It Is

With the Halo Versus: Snowbound Highbase building set, kids can choose their side and recreate arctic showdowns as Red and Blue Team race to control Snowbound Highbase. This 438-piece set comes with a Red Team Spartan EVA minifigure whose boots are snow-covered because he's been running through the snow to make a break for it with Blue Team's flag. The Blue Team Spartan EOD minifigure grips the handlebars on his arctic Mongoose vehicle with real-rolling wheels. Both minifigures include weapons, and additional accessories include a blue flag and a skull. There are a few moving pieces on this set: two of the base's panels can be opened and closed. This set can be added to other MEGA Bloks Halo battlescapes and buildable terrains, which are sold separately.

Is It Fun?

This playset lets Halo fans bring the storylines and elements from the video games to life. The set is ideal for collectors who can build and customize the set for display, while kids will enjoy recreating and acting out the battle between Red Team and Blue Team.

Who It’s For

The Halo Versus: Snowbound Highbase building set is for ages 8 and up. It will most appeal to fans of the Halo video game.

The Halo video games are rated Mature (17 and older) due to violence. While there is nothing of that nature in this building set, some parents may find a Halo building set inappropriate for their children.
