Angry Birds Star Wars Jabba’s Palace Battle Game Review (Hasbro)

What It Is

Kids can take the excitement and fun of Angry Birds Star Wars off the digital screen with real-world toys and games from Hasbro. The Angry Birds Star Wars Jabba's Palace Game comes with a Princess Leia bird, Jabba's Rancor pig, and exclusive Jabba the Hutt pig as well as one palace piece, a lightsaber launcher, six blocks, and instructions. Build Jabba's palace following the instructions or in whatever configuration you want, then launch Princess Leia to try and knock down Jabba and his Rancor pig.

Is It Fun?

Jabba's Palace Battle Game has elements that are derived from the Angry Birds Star Wars app, but interpreted in a way that works as a real-life skill-and-action game. It adds a social and interactive dimension to the electronic game. The build-it-up-knock-it-down action is perfectly positioned for younger kids.

Even though this is called a game, there is no scoring system. Kids can create their own scoring system if they want to play a game that has winners and losers, but younger kids who just like to crash things might enjoy it as it is, especially with the Star Wars characters.
