Where's My Water?, the popular Disney app that features Swampy the Alligator, comes off the screen and into the family room for face-to-face gameplay with Hasbro's Where's My Water? board game. In the app, the player guides water through subterranean Earth into Swampy's tub so he can get clean. The board game version encourages children to guide "water" marbles to Swampy while avoiding obstacles along the way. Each player chooses a side of Swampy's tub. Players then draw a card that features an image of obstacle pieces to add to the board. Some of the cards show specifically where the pieces should go, while other cards just list the pieces that need to be used, allowing kids to put those pieces anywhere they want. Any duck pieces get a yellow marble placed on them. Any toxic pieces get a purple marble placed on them. Once all the pieces are in place, the players take turns dropping their five water marbles in any of the four top funnels. The game board pieces change with every turn to create a path for the marbles to maneuver through to get to Swampy. Players score points for any blue or yellow marbles that land on their side of the tub. The purple marbles will take a point away. The player with the higher score at the end of the round keeps the card. The first player to win three cards wins the game.
Where's My Water? comes with a Swampy board, a Swampy figure and tub, 10 obstacles, 12 marbles, 30 bumper pegs, three duck pegs, two toxic pegs, and 32 cards. The game is for one to two players.
Where's My Water? is a fun way for fans of the app to play the game face-to-face with friends and family members. Each game will be different every time kids play in this build-as-you-play game. There is a little bit of strategy involved, as kids try to figure out in which funnel to drop their marbles in order to get the most marbles on their side of the tub.
Where's My Water? is for ages 5 and up.
Adult assembly is required. It took us 15 minutes to set up. The game board doesn't stay together that well, so be careful as you play.
The game comes with tips and tricks to help players find a hidden level in the Where's My Water? app, as well as tips and tricks for other Disney mobile apps.
