Learn & Groove Musical Table Review (LeapFrog)

What It Is

The Learn & Groove Musical Table has two ways to play. Turn the book page in the center of the table to switch between Learning mode and Music mode. In Learning mode, each musical instrument on the table introduces concepts such as colors, the alphabet, shapes, numbers, opposites, and more. In Music mode, kids can explore real instrument sounds, a variety of musical styles, and 27 popular children's tunes. Kids activate the sounds, words, and music in both modes by spinning the bead-filled maraca roller, pulling the lever on the guitar, pressing the piano keys, sliding the xylophone mallet up and down, opening and closing the music box door, tapping the shape drums, and sliding the trombone knob.

Kids can also play in Spanish. Just slide the language selector switch from English to Spanish, and as children interact with the instruments in either mode, they will hear words, phrases, and favorite songs in Spanish.

The table legs can be removed so that the tabletop can be used for floor play for infants. Attach the table legs to use as an activity table when your child is able to stand steadily.

Is It Fun?

The Learn & Groove Musical Table is an interactive way to introduce babies and toddlers to music, first words in English and Spanish, numbers, the alphabet, and opposites. There is so much on this table to keep kids engaged while they play and explore. Kids will like that everything they touch on this table elicits a response: words, fun sounds, or music. The variety of musical activities encourages babies to dance, reach, push, pull, press, slide, open, and close, which helps develop gross and fine motor skills.
