Playskool Heroes Spider-Man Stunt City Review (Hasbro)

What It Is

Spider-Man can climb walls, web swing, and perform other amazing stunts in the Playskool Heroes Spider-Man Stunt City playset. Attach the Spider-Man figure to the web line and swing him around or attach the figure to the pole and send him spinning from the top of the playset to the bottom. Kids can also help Spider-Man dodge the Lizard by placing the figure on the ledge and pulling down on the lizard hand. A window opens to reveal the Lizard's face, but Spider-Man has gone upside down under the ledge. Spider-Man can also go sliding down the Lizard's tail to make an escape on his motorcycle. Place the Spider-Man figure at the base of the climbing wall, wind up the motor, and press the button to hear sounds and phrases, see lights, and watch Spider-Man climb up the wall. Once Spider-Man reaches the top, he performs a stunt-acular flip to the roof. At any time, kids can press one of two buttons on the playset to hear Spider-Man phrases and sound effects.

The Stunt City playset can be folded for easy transportation and storage. The playset includes a Spider-Man figure, Spider-Man motorcycle, and Lizard's Lost Treasure storybook.

Is It Fun?

This playset is designed for younger Spider-Man fans who want all the fun and adventure of big kid action figures. Spider-Man Stunt City is perfectly sized for little hands and contains easy-to-use features that preschoolers can master. The playset will engage preschoolers in all sorts of imaginative, narrative-based superhero play.

Who It’s For

Spider-Man Stunt City is for Spider-Man fans ages 3–6.

What To Be Aware Of

We had some trouble getting the Spider-Man figure to climb up the wall and flip to the roof. The figure's arms need to be almost straight up. If the figure's arms are angled too much, even though the figure attaches to the wall properly and starts to climb, it will not be able to make it to the top to perform the stunt.

Two AA batteries are included for the in-store try-me features. Hasbro recommends replacing those batteries before you play for best results.

The climbing wall and roof ledge contain magnets.
