Matchbox Big Boots Dino Chopper Review (Mattel)

What It Is

Big Boots are small preschool action figures that can be tossed, launched, or dropped and always land on their feet thanks to their big boots. The Matchbox Big Boots Dino Chopper comes with three Big Boots characters and the Dino Chopper vehicle. There are several ways to launch the figures into action. Place a Big Boots figure in each side compartment on the chopper, and when the chopper is airborne, pull the trigger to watch the figures leap from the cabin. Attach the figures to the cable and bring them back up by winding the chopper's rotors, or let them freefall to the action below. Load up the three Big Boots figures into the chamber and release them one at a time by pulling back on the chopper's top rudder. Kids can also use the chopper's missile to take out a ferocious dino (not included). Load the projectile and push the button to fire.

The Dino Chopper can hold more than three Big Boots figures, and additional figures are sold separately.

Is It Fun?

The Dino Chopper playset delivers a lot of play. The concept is really cute and will appeal to younger kids who will get a kick out of flinging the characters around and the way the characters always land on their feet. This playset will inspire lots of open-ended action play.
