Myachi Battle Paddles Review (Myachi)

What It Is

Myachi (pronounced mee-ah-chee) Hand Sacks have been around for a few years now. These "hacky sacks for your hands" can be caught, kicked, and flipped with every body part except for the palms of your hands. Catching a Myachi Hand Sack on the back of your hand takes some practice and can be a little difficult. So to make things a little easier, Myachi released Myachi Battle Paddles. These combine the functionality and style of a baseball glove with the head of a lacrosse stick. The adjustable five-finger design fits any hand (right or left), and the larger surface area and friction flame allow players to catch a hand sack thrown faster and from farther away. Kids can visit to learn hundreds of Myachi tricks, and they can also "Myachify" sports, such as lacrosse, football, volleyball, and ping pong. Set up nets, goals, and end zones in the backyard or turn any table into a battlefield. Each Battle Paddle set comes with two Battle Paddles and one hand sack.

Is It Fun?

This is great as a solo and group activity. Kids will be engaged creating their own games and challenges and going head-to-head in Myachi competitions. Myachi Battle Paddles encourage kids to be more active indoors and outdoors as well as help reinforce discipline, patience, and determination—skills kids will need as they master Myachi basics and, especially, the harder Myachi tricks.

Who It’s For

Myachi Battle Paddles have been safety-tasted for ages 3 and up but is really more for older children (6 and up) with more developed gross motor skills.

What To Be Aware Of

Myachi Hand Sacks are released in limited-edition series of 12 different designs and sold individually for $4.99. There are more than 800 styles.

While it's fairly easy to get the basics of this, mastery takes time, practice and patience.
