Happi Full Throttle Review ()

What It Is

In the app Happi Full Throttle, kids take on the role of a firefighter, race car driver, and other jobs kids love to explore. It does this in a way that gets kids up and moving. No more passive screen staring. Enter the app and choose one of the four current vehicles: fire truck, sports car, police helicopter, or submarine. If you choose the submarine, your child can get up and move around as they play out the role of captain and embark on an underwater adventure. Tap the periscope and start the fun as you look for rogue sub and torpedos. If you choose the fire truck, your child gets to rush off to help people in need. You can turn on and off the emergency lights, and if it's a rainy day in your child's imagination, you can even use the windshield wipers. Grab the fire extinguisher and save the day. What makes this app so much fun is that it uses the iPad's camera, so kids are able to actually see their own worlds through the "windshields" of the vehicles.

Is It Fun?

Happi Full Throttle is an app that engages your child's imagination while riding around in the car or safely going on adventures in the living room. Kids will love being able to see their world go underwater or on a racetrack through the play in this app.

Who It’s For

Happi Full Throttle is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.

What To Be Aware Of

Happi Full Throttle is compatible with the iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iPad (3rd generation), and iPad Wi-Fi + 4G. It requires iOS 4.2 or later.

Right now there are only four vehicles, but the game's developers are working on a few more. And the app will be available for the iPhone, too, which we can't wait for as it might be easier for kids to move around with the iPhone than the iPad.

Naturally, if kids are moving around with an iPad, they should have adult supervision.

For some fun off the app, encourage your kids to design their own Happi Full Throttle vehicle. Email these pictures to the game developers, Happi Papi, and your child just might find his creation becoming the next vehicle added to Happi Full Throttle.
