Farmville Animal Games Memory Review (Hasbro)

What It Is

Fans of the popular Farmville game from Zynga can now share their favorite animals offline with new Farmville Animal Games. Farmville Animal Games Memory comes in a Disco Sheep-shaped zippered pouch that contains 36 animal cards for playing a memory game. To start, mix up all the cards and place them facedown in rows of three. Remove one card to avoid a tie. (To accommodate the size of our table, we laid out 35 cards in five rows of seven cards.) Players take turns turning over two cards to see if they can match the animal pictures. If you get a match, you take that set of cards and go again. If you don't get a match, turn those cards back over, and it's the next player's turn. Keep turning over cards and looking for matches. When there is one card left, the game is over. The player with the most pairs wins.

The game instructions include ways to make the game easier for younger children and more challenging for older children.

The purchase of Farmville Animal Games Memory gives parents a unique code to redeem 20 Farm Cash of in-game currency for use in Zynga's Farmville online game.

Is It Fun?

Farmville Animal Games Memory is the classic game of matching and memory with favorite Farmville animals. The game is easy to learn, and we like that you can alter the gameplay to accommodate different ages and skill levels.

Who It’s For

Farmville Animal Games Memory is for ages 4 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Additional Farmville Animal Games include Groovy Chicken's Go Fish and Rockstar Cow's Old Maid. Each is sold separately.

The game play is not really related very closely to Farmville, so if kids or parents aren't fans, this game can easily be played with a deck of traditional playing cards. Kids will get the same learning benefits playing that way.
