What It Is

The LEGO City The Mine set is a 748-piece building set that's full of wonderful models, great detail, and tons of opportunity for play. Kids will build a mine, a drill, a truck, and a crane. The mine features a train, train track, a mine door, a safe, and a working conveyer belt. The drill features a spinning function. The crane has a rotating cabin, a moving arm, and a lowering shovel. The truck has an articulated cab. Four minifigures are included: crew chief, crane driver, driller, and truck driver. Accessories include three dynamite packs (one with a timer), two detonators, two rocks each containing six gold nuggets, 36 small rocks in a variety of colors, two gold bars, an explosion warning sign, a storage box, a jackhammer, a fence with hazard lights, a wheelbarrow, a broom, a shovel, a pickaxe, a walkie-talkie, and a coffee cup.

Is It Fun?

The detail in The Mine set is really impressive. Everywhere you look on the completed set there are cool little details that reflect the creativity of the designers and provide a rich, imaginative play experience for kids.

One of the things that make this and other LEGO City sets so great is that everything works so well and is so satisfying to play with.
