Orb is an "uncrashable" flying R/C vehicle with LED lights. The design is supposedly "alien-inspired," and it is lightweight and easy to fly with its aerodynamic design. The patented "Auto-Upright" technology enables the Orb to lift off straight up in the air from any surface for smooth maneuvering and continuous play. If the Orb bounces into walls, its durable foam shell protects it from breaking. And if it falls to the ground, it lands upright. Before you play, you'll need to charge the Orb by plugging it into the remote control/charger for 45 minutes. For every full charge, you get five minutes of use.
We like that the Orb has the protective foam shell to keep it from breaking when kids crash it into the wall or the ground. One thing we didn't like about the Orb were the controls. It was easy to get the Orb into the air and keep it there, but it takes a lot of practice to send the Orb left or right. There is a bit of a learning curve to this toy. It's not something you'll be able to perfectly control on your first try.
Orb is for ages 8 and up.
