LEGO Ninjago Epic Dragon Battle Review (LEGO)

What It Is

The LEGO Ninjago Epic Dragon Battle set comes with 915 pieces and has plenty of building challenge. Once it's done, there's plenty of play as well. Like all of the Ninjago sets, this one takes kids into another chapter of the Ninjago legend. The Great Devourer has been awakened and threatens to devour the world of Ninjago. The only hope is the green ninja riding his four-headed Ultra Dragon. And, of course, the battle between the evil Lord Garmadon and Sensei Wu continues.

The set comes with seven minifigures: Lloyd ZX, Jay ZX, Sensei Wu, Lord Garmadon, Acidicus, Kalidor, and Chokun. Kids can build the four-headed Ultra Dragon with extendable wings, a flame sphere shooter, and a flexible body and tail. It also has a carry handle to make it easy for kids to pick it up and fly it around. Kids will also build The Great Devourer, which also has a flexible body and an opening mouth with space for a minifigure inside, and the snake prison, which features an opening gate and space for a minifigure with a snake venom trap. Weapons include a Hypnobrai fang blade with blue anti-venom capsule, all four golden Spinjitzu weapons, and seven regular weapons.

Is It Fun?

This is a really big set with lots of built-in play value. For Ninjago fans, this ultimate set will inspire all kinds of building fun and active imaginative play.
