Diary of a Wimpy Kid Don't Scramble the Egg Game Review (Pressman Toy)

What It Is

In the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Don't Scramble the Egg Game, players try to be the last person left when all the other players are out of the game. One player starts by holding the electronic Rowley egg timer. That player takes a category card, turns it over, and reads the category out loud. A category could be "Things that are scary." The first player presses the timer's button to turn it on, and then says one thing that is scary. That player then tosses the egg to any other player who must say something else that is scary before tossing the egg to another player. At some point, the egg will make a cracking sound. The player holding the egg at that time takes the category card. That player starts the next round by turning over a new category card. When a player has collected three category cards, they are out of the game. Play continues until there is only one player left. The game comes with an electronic Rowley egg timer, 50 category cards, and rules. The game is for two or more players.

Is It Fun?

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Don't Scramble the Egg Game is a fun take on the classic game of Hot Potato. But instead of merely tossing the egg timer around, players also have to think of things that fit in category for that round. It's challenging to come up with things, especially when you don't know what the other players will say nor do you know when the egg timer will be passed to you!
