The Grow With Me Sit-to-Stand Scooter is designed to help young children learn to ride a scooter in two stages. In the first stage, the scooter is a foot-to-floor ride-on. Kids sit and use their feet to push themselves along. Once they are ready to stand and ride, parents can convert it to a stable, three-wheel scooter by flipping the deck and raising the handlebar. The scooter is available in pink or blue.
The Grow With Me Sit-to-Stand Scooter is a great introduction to riding a scooter for little kids. With the two different stages, kids can progress at their own pace, developing the balance and confidence they need to go from foot-to-floor ride-on to scooter. Preschoolers will like being able to ride their very own scooter just like the big kids.
The Sit-to-Stand Scooter is for ages 1.5–5. There is a maximum weight limit of 44 pounds.
Adult assembly is required. You'll need a Philips screwdriver and wire cutters. It will take you 15-20 minutes to assemble. It will also take you about the same amount of time to convert from stage one to stage two. Only allow one child to ride at a time. When riding in stage two, wear protective equipment: helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads. Adult supervision is recommended.
