Puzzle Pages Review (Wizard Interactive)

What It Is

The puzzles in the Puzzle Pages app are a little more challenging than traditional, dimensional puzzles. Kids choose one of four puzzles to put together: solar system, medieval castle, aquarium, and rainbow-filled sky. A screen appears with a faded image of the puzzle at the top and all the puzzle pieces at the bottom. Kids must look at the puzzle pieces and match the colors and designs in the pieces to the appropriate place on the puzzle. The pieces are all squares, so kids don't have the shape matching ability as they do with a traditional jigsaw puzzle. They really have to look at the design to see how the pieces match up. When kids match a piece correctly, they will hear a dinging noise and the piece will fit into place. If the piece isn't matched correctly, there will be no noise, and kids must continue moving the piece around the puzzle until they get it right. Each puzzle has 42 pieces.

Is It Fun?

This is a challenging digital puzzle game that really requires players to use visual and matching skills to complete each puzzle. There are puzzle themes for both boys and girls, and kids will enjoy putting together these fun pictures. We just wish there were more puzzles in this app, or at least occasional updates to add new puzzles.

Who It’s For

Puzzle Pages is for ages 4–8.
