Crayola Color Clickers Review (Griffin Technology)

What It Is

Crayola Color Clickers give young iPod users the option to design their own iPod cases. Color Clickers are available in either a green or yellow protective polycarbonate shell that fits on the back of an iPod Touch 4th Generation. Each shell comes with 28 coordinating color stripes. Kids snap the stripes onto the shell in any combination, then take them off and create a new color combination. The shell offers side, edge, and back protection for the iPod with easy access to controls, the headphone jack, and dock connector.

Is It Fun?

Kids love customizing their iPhone cases—and changing them up. Crayola Color Clickers are a new way for kids to protect and showcase their iPods while expressing their changing design ideas and tastes. Kids will like that they can customize the look of the case and make different color combinations over and over again.

Who It’s For

Crayola Color Clickers are for ages 6 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The stripes are difficult to take off of the shell. Of course, it's important that the stripes stay in place as phones are used. However, kids may need help from mom and dad—and mom and dad may need a small pointed or flat-tipped object to pry off the stripes. We used a pen cap and paper clip because trying to get the stripes off was really hurting our fingers and threatening to break our nails. Kids won't really be able to change these on the fly.
