The SmartMax Magnetic Discovery line is all about building with magnets. The extra large pieces make it easy for small children to manipulate, and the magnets are strong enough for easy assembly and breakdown of constructions.
The Drive & Fly set comes with 15 pieces so kids can build real-rolling cars, planes, or whatever type of vehicle they want to create. There are no instructions to guide children in the building process, but there are some pictures to show kids the types of things they can build. Pieces include two cockpits, two containers, a metal ball, two propellers, a medium bar, two long bars, three wheel sets, one tail wing, and one plane wing with wheels. The pieces are compatible with other SmartMax Magnetic Discovery building sets, which are sold separately.
The SmartMax Drive & Fly set offers preschoolers a new way to build outside of traditional bricks and blocks. The pieces easily stick together thanks to the magnets and are also easy for small hands to grasp. And because kids can build however and whatever they want, the SmartMax Drive & Fly set engages kids in lots of imaginative and creative play.
The SmartMax Drive & Fly set is for ages 3 and up.
The pieces in the SmartMax Drive & Fly set are designed to meet and exceed safety requirements. The metal ball is 1.8 inches in diameter, making it large enough to be non-swallowable. Each specially sonic-welded bar has inaccessible magnets encased inside.
