Cash Bash is an electronic handheld learning game that helps kids practice money skills. Watch the screen and quickly press the coin and dollar buttons to add up the matching amounts. You have 60 seconds to answer as many money facts as you can.
There are two levels of play. Level 1 is for younger players who have coin identification and counting experience, but who are just beginning to add coin values up to a dollar. Level 2 plays exactly as Level 1 except total amounts go up to $20.
For either level, press any coin button to begin. The Cash Bash drill begins after a five-second countdown. Players have 60 seconds to solve as many money problems as they can. A money amount will display on the screen. Press the coin and dollar buttons to add up to that amount. Players will hear a "positive" sound for a correct answer and a "negative" sound for an incorrect answer. At the end of 60 seconds, your score will be displayed. The top number represents the number of problems solved correctly and the bottom number shows the number of problems encountered. To play again, press any button to return to the Level Select screen.
You can also disable the 60-second timer by pressing and holding the penny (1 cent) button. The screen will display 0000 0000 and the timer will be disabled for the game. This way kids can practice solving unlimited money problems. To restore the timer function, select a new game with the Level Select switch.
Cash Bash is a fun way to help children identify coins and dollar bills as well as understand how to add dollars and coins to equal the proper amount of money. This is a skill that will be necessary for kids to know for when they purchase something from a store using their allowance money or birthday money.
Cash Bash is for ages 7–10.
This can be particularly good for kids who are beginning to understand the concept of money and value, which usually happens between ages 7 and 8.
Three AAA batteries are required but not included.
Slide the sound switch to mute the sound.
