National Geographic Deep Cave Explorer Echo Maker Review (Uncle Milton)

What It Is

The National Geographic Deep Cave Explorer Echo Maker is part of a line of National Geographic-branded toys designed to get kids outside and exploring. With the Deep Cave Explorer Echo Maker, kids can create booming echo effects and light their path. Speak into the device and your voice echoes as though you were in a cave. The Echo Maker also includes an attached searchlight. The included Activity Guide directs kids to, a website for kids to learn about National Geographic explorers, find fun outdoor activities, and more.

Is It Fun?

The Deep Cave Explorer Echo Maker lets kids pretend they are exploring a cave, and it's also a lot of fun to just talk into the Echo Maker and hear your voice echo. While probably not something that kids will take with them on a regular hike, the Echo Maker will engage kids in pretend play as they imagine they are exploring the insides of a cave, aka your basement.
