National Geographic All-Terrain Nature Collector Review (Uncle Milton)

What It Is

The National Geographic All-Terrain Nature Collector is part of an entire line of National Geographic-branded toys designed to get kids outside and exploring. This handheld device lets even small hands easily grab objects with the rubberized tips. The Nature Collector also turns and twists to allow for easy access into tight places hands can't reach. This works great for rocks, sticks, and other inanimate objects. But to catch bugs and other living things, simply snap on the collecting domes and snap up the creature. The domes have air holes for humane catching. When the observation is done, relax your grip on the handle and release your specimen back into the wild. The included Activity Guide directs kids to, a website for kids to learn about National Geographic explorers, find fun outdoor activities, and more.

Is It Fun?

Kids are naturally curious about the world around them, and while they want to get up close, sometimes they can be nervous about picking up something from outside. The National Geographic All-Terrain Nature Collector makes it easy for kids to collect nature specimens without having to get their hands dirty. Kids will like how easy it is to use and how neat it is to observe nature up close.
