LEGO City Police Dog Van Review (LEGO)

What It Is

With the 313-piece LEGO City Police Dog Van set, kids can build and help the forest policeman retrieve the stolen goods from the robber. Kids will build the robber's sports car and a police dog van with opening side and rear doors and space for two police dog minifigures. Accessories include a cave, tree, beehive, two gold bars, diamond, crowbar, and handcuffs. The set comes with two minifigures, forest policeman and robber, and two police dog figures.

Is It Fun?

The LEGO City Police Dog Van set features lots of great detail, especially with the accessories, that let kids build and play out an action-packed police chase. The set makes a great addition to other LEGO City building sets, but is also a lot of fun on its own.

Who It’s For

The LEGO City Police Dog Van is for ages 5–12. It will appeal to LEGO fans who like the building and open-ended play the set inspires.

What To Be Aware Of

As with all LEGO building sets, the LEGO City Police Dog Van includes step-by-step instructions that walk young builders through the building process. There are two instruction booklets with this set, and the pieces are divided into two bags. Use bag one to build the sports car and robber's cave. Bag two includes pieces and accessories for the police van, the police dogs, and policeman. Don't mix pieces from the bags or building will be confusing.
