Disney Dual Alarm Clock Speaker System Review (iHome)

What It Is

The Disney Dual Alarm Clock Speaker System features favorite characters: Minnie Mouse or Kermit the Frog. (Each version is sold separately.) It has a dock that works with an iPod Touch 2G/3G, an iPod Touch 4G, or a nano 6G. (It comes with two inserts for docking the different iPods.) The universal dock plays and charges these iPod models. The dual alarm allows you to wake up to separate iPod or buzzer alarms. You can also fall asleep listening to music on the iPod with the selectable sleep timer. The alarm clock has a snoozer/dimmer bar that adjusts the clock's display between low, medium, and high brightness. The Dual Alarm Clock Speaker System does run on batteries, but it also comes with a universal voltage adapter that plugs into the wall.

Is It Fun?

These alarm clocks are a fun way for fans of Kermit or Minnie Mouse to show their love of these characters through functional home décor. Being able to play music through the alarm clock is also a nice feature that can be used for playing your favorite music as you fall asleep or during the day. The sleek design of these alarm clocks doesn't look kid-ish, making them perfect for young Disney fans as well as adults.

Who It’s For

The Disney Dual Alarm Clock Speaker System is for ages 9 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

To play and charge the iPod while it's docked on the alarm clock, make sure the alarm clock is connected to AC power using the AC adapter.

The Disney Dual Alarm Clock Speaker System comes with three AAA batteries. The batteries are intended to be used as back-up batteries to provide continuous alarm operation and clock settings in the event of a power failure. The batteries do not power the iPod functionality.

Take your iPod out of any protective case before docking it onto the alarm clock.
