Distraction is a card game that tests players' memory skills. The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards. Players take turns drawing and laying down number cards in the center of the playing surface and remembering the growing sequence of digits. For example, the first player lays down a 1 and says, "1." The second player lays down a 3 and says, "1, 3." If you draw a Distraction card, you must answer a quirky question (such as "If you could eat any food right now, what would it be?") or perform a task before reciting the numbers in order. Get caught repeating the sequence incorrectly, and you have to pick up the cards in the center of the table to add to your hand. The first player to run out of cards wins. Distraction includes 54 round number cards and 50 rectangular Distraction cards with 100 questions. The game is for two or more players.
Distraction adds a new twist to memory games with the Distraction cards. The questions are silly and challenge players to work those memory skills so the question doesn't distract them and make them forget the number sequence.
Distraction is for ages 8 and up.
Distraction can be played with two players, but we think it's more fun with three to six players.
