Grill Set Review (HABA)

What It Is

The Grill Set lets kids pretend to grill up dinner just like Mom and Dad. The set comes with a cardboard grill and grilling fire, along with five pieces of soft charcoal. The Grill Set includes several pretend food pieces, such as a steak, a little sausage, a shish kebab, a fish, two chicken drumsticks, and three tomato slices. Each of the food pieces (except for the shish kebab) has one plain side and one side with grill marks. Kids can use the included wooden tongs to flip over the food and reveal the grill marks.

Is It Fun?

One of the most classic roleplay categories is food play. Kids love to pretend to cook and serve food because they see their parents doing it, and they want to be just like Mom and Dad. The Grill Set is a high-quality play food set that will engage kids in lots of imaginative, open-ended roleplay.

Who It’s For

The Grill Set is for ages 3 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The pieces of the shish kebab are held onto the skewer with a clear rubberband. Remove the rubberband before giving to your child. The pieces stay on pretty well without the rubberband, and your child will be able to remove the pieces and stack them on the skewer however they want.
