Monster High Sweet 1600: Draculaura Review (Mattel)

What It Is

Draculaura, as anyone with kids who are passionate about Monster High, is the daughter of Dracula, and she's one of the ghoulish girls in the gang at Monster High. She's getting ready for a very special celebration—her Sweet 1600th party. The Monster High Sweet 1600 Draculaura doll is dressed in a pink and black party dress with a tulle underskirt. The doll also comes with a pretend cake, lip-shaped purse complete with fang embellishments, and an extra outfit that she can wear apres the party, as they say. The doll also comes with a special skeleton key that interacts with the free Monster High Sweet 1600 app. When the app is open on an Apple iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, place the skeleton key on top of the screen to unlock an exclusive invitation to Draculaura's Sweet 1600 birthday party, as well as other extras such as wallpapers. A doll stand is also included.

Is It Fun?

There are lots of wonderful details in the doll's earrings and shoes that capture the fashion-forward whimsy that characterizes the Monster High line and has made it such a hit. Kids will like playing out Draculaura's birthday party both with the dolls and in the digital world through the app. Monster High fans will want to add this new doll to their collections, and if your kids are just discovering these dolls, this is a great way to start.
