LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina Review (LEGO)

What It Is

The LEGO Star Wars: Mos Eisley Cantina is a 616-piece set that builds Mos Eisley Cantina and Luke's landspeeder that first appeared in the original Star Wars movie, Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope. The set comes with eight minifigures with assorted weapons and accessories: Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Greedo, a Sandtrooper, and three Bith Musicians. There is also a Dewback creature that the Sandtrooper or other minifigures can ride.

The Cantina is made up of four sections including a domed-roof entrance with sliding door and droid scanner. The middle sections contain a booth, tables, and chairs that slide out. The final section is the bar. The entire structure can be folded in to create a Mos Eisley building.

Is It Fun?

This set allows kids, and adult collectors, to act out scenes from the Star Wars movies or imagine their own story lines.

Who It’s For

The set is intended for kids, ages 8-14, but we think Star Wars fans of all ages will want the set for their collections.

What To Be Aware Of

The directions are excellent and are separated into two books. It took our Master Builder 90-minutes to complete. It will probably take the average builder two or more hours to build.
