The Scholastic Alphabet Cookie Game comes with 96 cookie-shaped pieces to help children build letter recognition skills. Players take turns reaching into the resealable foil bag and drawing one cookie playing piece. In order to keep the cookie, the player must correctly identify the letter on the cookie and say a word that starts with that letter. If you don't answer correctly, set that piece aside, and it's the next player's turn. If the player draws a bitten cookie piece, he loses all the cookie pieces he's collected. When all the cookies have been played, the game is over, and the player with the most cookies wins.
The Scholastic Alphabet Cookie Game is a cute way to help kids practice letter recognition skills and improve vocabulary. The cookie pieces make this really fun to play with, especially for cookie lovers. Kids can also use the cookie pieces to practice spelling words when not playing the game.
The Scholastic Alphabet Cookie Game is for ages 3-6.
The game instructions don't specify how many players you need to play, but we think two or more players would suffice.
