Monster High Freaky Fusions Clawvenus Review (Mattel)

What It Is

Kids will see a new breed of Monster High characters in the Monster High DVD Freaky Fusion. In the movie, some of the ghouls have been temporarily fused together, including Venus McFlytrap and Clawdeen Wolf. The Freaky Fusions Clawvenus doll has unique olive-colored skin with an almost bronze tone to it, bright pink flocked hair with long pieces of green and purple styled into a knotted ponytail, and ears shaped like Clawdeen's but with leafy veins like Venus'. The doll's bright makeup shows off her white fangs. She's wearing a furry green-and-purple shrug over a purple, black, and green print mini dress with leopard and venus flytrap patterns, and a net top. Her accessories include gold bracelets, earrings, a large belt, a bright green purse, and black platform booties with pink anklets. She comes with a bright yellow doll stand and hairbrush, and a mashed-up diary written by both Venus and Clawdeen detailing their adventures while fused together.

Is It Fun?

Like all Monster High dolls, Clawvenus is as fashion-forward as ever. Clawvenus would make a great addition to any Monster High collection and will inspire lots of imaginative play as kids reenact scenes from Freaky Fusion or imagine all-new adventures for her.
