LEGO Ninja Turtles Turtle Van Takedown Review (LEGO)

What It Is

The LEGO Ninja Turtles: Turtle Van Takedown is a 368-piece set that builds the Turtle Van, barricade, stretcher, and the four minifigures of Michelangelo, Raphael, Vern, and a Foot Soldier.

The van features a removable roof to reveal the interior play area with a computer. There are two fold-out flick missiles on the sides of the van, two roof flick missiles, satellite dish, hook, and a winch. The Barricade has a moveable arm and a blow-up feature that pops the tower off when pressed. The stretcher pivots and has mechanical arms that can grip a minifigure.

Is It Fun?

All of these pieces and figures give kids a fun way to recreate scenes from the movie or come up with their own half-shell action sequences.

Who It’s For

The set is for Turtles fans, ages 6 to 12, but older fans and collectors might like it also.

What To Be Aware Of

The directions are excellent and it took us 45 minutes to build. The only problem we had was tying the string for the winch so kids might need some help with that step.
