Magic Paint Posters are books that include 12 sheets of paper, each with a different design to paint. Each book also has a paint palette with six colors at the bottom. The paint is made using non-toxic ingredients. You'll need a paintbrush, or even a cotton swab works, and a cup of water. Kids just dip the brush in water, wet the paint color they want to use, and paint. Don't let the word "poster" fool you, though. The pictures in this book are only six by six inches. Each sheet has a perforated edge to tear out the picture. There are tons of styles and characters to choose from, including Pillow Pets and Scooby Doo. Each is sold separately.
If you're looking for an easy painting project for your kids with a lot less mess, then check out these posters. This is a fun, simple activity for kids who are just learning to paint.
Magic Paint Posters are for ages 4 and up.
We recommend putting newspaper or an old tablecloth on the table before your child does this activity, as we found the paint bleeds through the paper a bit. Also, you do have to use the paint sparingly in order to have enough in the palette to complete the whole picture. We know this is not something you can easily direct your child to do, so just be aware that you may need to use paint from other pages or have your child finish their work of art with crayons or markers.
