Little Humans Review (Farrar Straus Giroux)

What It Is

The creator of the popular blog Humans of New York has created a new book featuring some of the littlest humans. Little Humans, by street photographer and storyteller Brandon Stanton, combines some of Stanton's favorite photos of children from the blog and new portraits of young, diverse, stylish city kids with an original narrative. It tells all the things little humans are and what they can do. They learn, they help, they fall, they get back up, they hug, they grow, they love, and so much more. And we learn that these kids are, well, human and that they won't be little for long. Soon they will be big.

Is It Fun?

This is a cool, heartwarming book with beautiful photos of kids big and small that are fun to look at over and over again. It's great for kids to practice their reading skills or for adults to read aloud.

Who It’s For

Little Humans is for ages 4-8.
