And Away We Go! Review (Henry Holt and Company Books for Young Readers)

What It Is

And Away We Go! by Migy is a charming tale about Mr. Fox and his balloon, which is going to take him to the moon. As he sets off to the moon on his balloon, Elephant asks to join and Mr. Fox, being the friendly chap that he is, says, "Sure you can. Hop in." They pick up some pizza for their long trip to the moon, but then Giraffe jumps in and they all stop for milkshakes. Then Squirrel and his friend climb in with music, then Rhino jumps on board and starts dancing, then the jack rabbits jump on and play games, and pretty soon Mr. Fox's balloon is full of his friends. The weight causes the balloon to snap, and it goes up to into the air without its passengers. But no worries, Mr. Fox is with his friends and that's all he needs. The trip to the moon can wait.
