Peekapak Undersea Adventure Pack Review (Peekapak)

What It Is

The Peekapak Storytelling Adventure Pack from Peekapak is a new monthly subscription service, which sends you an adventure/playtime/storytelling kit to keep your kids active and engaged. Within each kit, kids are posed with the challenge to build one "play prop" then use it to expand the adventure of the pack. In this kit for example, the Peekapak Pals are going on an undersea adventure and need your help. Kids are asked to build an ocean lantern so the underwater adventure can unfold. Directions and everything you need to do this are included within the kit, and we found the visuals and instructions very easy to follow. One thing to note is that drying times aren't included but we suggest letting the glue dry a bit between certain steps, such as steps two and three to make sure the structure stays in place. Then once the activity is complete, which took us about 45 minutes, kids will continue to move through the story using their prop and other components in this kit to bring the adventure off the pages and into their world through not only the activities but the questions and facts that further involve a child.

Is It Fun?

We like how Peekapak gets kids and parents working together on its activities and also takes them outside their daily play patterns in an imaginative, creative way. And with three different activities and a lot of storytime and learning, there is obvious repeat play with the kit.

Who It’s For

Peekapaks are for ages 3-7.
