Nerf Rebelle Messenger Review (Hasbro)

What It Is

The Nerf Rebelle Messenger is a blaster that lets kids send and decode secret messages. The blaster comes with five reusable message darts, a pen that stores in the blaster's handle, and a separate key ring decoder. The darts already come with pre-printed secret messages on them, and you can see what they say before you shoot by loading the darts into the blaster and looking through the built-in decoder. To write your own secret message, just find an empty spot on the dart and write your message with the pen. Load up to three darts at a time, pull back on the handle, and press the trigger to fire one dart. Repeat pulling the handle and pressing the trigger to fire the other two. You can erase the messages you wrote on the darts by wiping the darts with a wet paper towel.

Is It Fun?

This blaster adds some secret agent roleplay to traditional blaster play. The secret pen and decoders work well, and the ink does erase well from the darts. Most importantly, the Messenger shoots darts a good distance, about 40 feet.

Who It’s For

The Nerf Rebelle Messenger is for ages 8 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Do not aim the darts at people's eyes or faces.

Be careful when using the marker because it can stain some surfaces.
