How to Train Your Dragon 2 Sheep Launcher Game is a skill-and-action game for two to four players where the object is to be the first player to move his or her dragon around the game board. The game comes with a game board, four dragon movers, four catapults, 16 discs (four each of four different colors), a net frame top, four frame legs, four nets, and a label sheet. Each player decides what color he wants to be and takes that same color dragon mover, catapult, and set of discs. All the dragon movers get placed on the start space.
On your turn, place a disc on your catapult, press down, and release to catapult the disc. Keep shooting your discs until they have all been played. As long as a disc lands in any net or on the game board, it stays there. If a disc lands off the game board, you can take it and reshoot it until it lands in a net or on the board.
For each of your white sheep discs that land in your own colored net area, you move your dragon two spaces. For each white sheep discs that land in someone else's net, move your dragon one space. Your black sheep disc scores double wherever it lands. So, if it lands in your own net, move your dragon four spaces. But if your dragon lands on a "Go Back 2 Spaces" space, you must do so. No points are scored for sheep that land on other areas of the game board.
Play continues with each player launching his discs until one player reaches the finish space and is the winner.
While the gameplay is easy to learn, it does take a bit of skill to launch your sheep discs where you want them. But that's all part of the play. Fans of How to Train Your Dragon 2 will like launching sheep just like in the movie and using the dragon movers to play out scenes from the movie when not playing the game.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 Sheep Launcher Game is for fans of the movie ages 5 and up.
The first time you play this game, it will take about five minutes to put everything together.
