Disney's Planes: Fire & Rescue Fire Blastin' Dusty Crophopper Review (Mattel)

What It Is

Fire Blastin' Dusty Crophopper, based on the Disney movie Planes: Fire & Rescue, shoots plastic water balls at the plastic fire targets and plays more than 20 phrases and sound effects from the movie. The plane comes with six water balls and three fire targets. To play, press down on the plane's cockpit and slowly roll the plane over the balls to load them inside. Then pull back on the handle to launch the balls at the fire targets and activate sounds and phrases. Kids can also tilt the plane left or right to activate more sounds and phrases. When playtime is over, the water balls can be stored underneath the plane.

Is It Fun?

Kids will have a lot of fun playing out the rescue action from the movie or imagining all-new adventures with this Dusty Crophopper toy. Fans of the movie will also like hearing Dusty talk to them as they play. There might be a little learning curve to figuring out the best angle at which to hold Dusty when launching the water balls at the fire targets. But that's all part of the fun and play.

Who It’s For

Fire Blastin' Dusty Crophopper is for Planes: Fire & Rescue fans ages 4 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

Three button cell batteries are included for in-store try-me features, and it's recommended that you replace them before you play for best results. Make sure you switch the toy from Try-Me mode to On in order to access the toy's full features.
