Disney Magical World Review (Nintendo)

What It Is

Disney Magical World from Nintendo takes players to the land of Castleton, which is filled with familiar Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy. There are also unique (to the game) residents, and they and the Disney characters give you simple tasks to perform. Tasks include gathering materials to build items or clothes and lead up to owning and managing the local cafe.

Just when you think this is going to be a Sims-style game, things take a turn. Castleton's wizard summons you to his tower to tell you about the ghosts invading the neighboring lands. It's up to you to get rid of the ghosts and you will visit the worlds of Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, and Winnie the Pooh as you fight the ghost and help the residents. While fighting ghosts you are still managing your cafe and performing tasks. Items that you pick up in battles can be used to make the cafe better and successfully complete tasks.

Is It Fun?

This is a unique Disney game that combines multiple game genres to give kids an entirely new way to explore favorite worlds.

There are more than 60 familiar Disney stars in the game, which gives kids another way to interact with some of their favorite characters.

Who It’s For

The game is rated E for everyone and perfect for little Disney fans. We think both girls and boys will enjoy this one and although kids as young as 5 can play, they will need to be able to read to enjoy it.

What To Be Aware Of

The game is a Nintendo 3DS exclusive.
