LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Sub Undersea Chase Review (LEGO)

LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Sub Undersea Chase
What It Is

The Turtle Sub Undersea Chase set from LEGO is a 684-piece set that lets kids build the Turtles' submarine as they go off in search of the nefarious Kraang, who have stolen the power cell. The set includes four minifigures with weapons and accessories: Donatello, Leonardo, two Kraang, plus a Leatherhead figure. The Turtle Sub features a detachable top shell, opening cockpit, control panels, shooter, flapping fins, periscope, weapons, armory storage, exercise bike, and an opening hatch. Use the opening hatch to remove a mini sub that the figures can ride in to go after the Kraang. The mini sub also features a flick-fire missile, computer dashboard, power cell, and translucent elements.

Is It Fun?

As always with LEGO, the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. And the imaginative play that follows for any Turtle fan is a given with this colorful, feature-packed set.

Who It’s For

The set is recommended for kids ages 7-14, but we think younger Turtles fans who are able to follow directions and can work with the LEGO bricks will have no trouble building this set.

What To Be Aware Of

It took our expert builder just under two hours to assemble this set.

The finished Turtle Sub measures more than five-inches high, nine-inches long, and seven-inches wide.
