LEGO Star Wars V-Wing Starfighter Review (LEGO)

LEGO Star Wars V-Wing Starfighter
What It Is

The LEGO Star Wars: V-Wing Starfighter from LEGO is a 201-piece set that builds a V-Wing Starfighter and two minifigures of a V-Wing Clone Pilot and Astromech droid.

The V-Wing has a lot of moveable elements for a small set. The cockpit opens to fit the pilot, two flaps on the top open and close and, the coolest feature, the wings rotate from landing mode to flight mode. There's also a spot for the Astromech Droid that makes it look like he is in the turret and able to spin around.

Is It Fun?

The V-Wing was used by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars and this LEGO version lets kids create their own epic space battles. Collectors can also display it easily because of its small size.

Who It’s For

The set is intended for Star Wars fans, ages 7 to 12, but we think older Star Wars collectors will like it also.

What To Be Aware Of

The directions are excellent and it should take most LEGO Builders about 30 minutes to complete.
