Ferry Tail Review (Fashion Angels)

Ferry Tail
What It Is

In the picture book Ferry Tail, readers are introduced to Walter the very helpful ferry dog. He rides the ferry and brings the captain his morning paper, listens with the engineer to the sound of the engines, and tastes bacon from the cook. Walter also helps the passengers by greeting cars, barking at sea gulls, and posing for photos. Walter loves life on the ferry boat, except for one thing-Cupcake, the captain's cat. One day, when Cupcake gets Walter into trouble, Walter decides to leave the ferry and explore life on land. Being a landlubber isn't right for him, though, but he can't seem to find his way back to the ferry. In his time of need, an unexpected ally emerges to help bring Walter home. This 32-page book is written by Katharine Kenah and illustrated by Nicole Wong.
