LEGO City Surfer Rescue Review (LEGO)

LEGO City Surfer Rescue
What It Is

The LEGO City: Surfer Rescue from LEGO is 32-piece set that builds a Coast Guard watercraft along with two minifigures of a surfer and a Coast Guard rescuer. It also comes with a shark and a surfboard. The shark's mouth opens and the watercraft's handle pivots.

This set is part of the LEGO City line, which shows minifigures in different occupations and activities. Many of the occupations involve rescue workers.

Is It Fun?

This is a small set but it packs a lot of play into its tiny box. Kids can stage the rescue, where the Coast Guard heads out to save the surfer from the shark, or they can come up with their own stories.

Who It’s For

This set is for LEGO fans ages 5 and up.

What To Be Aware Of

The directions are excellent and should take most LEGO builders about 10 minutes to complete.

Small sets like this one are a great introduction to the line or expansion of a collection.

The watercraft does not float.
